Kokish Hydroelectric Generating Station begin commercial operations.  MKE was the Independent Engineer on behalf of the B.C. government in fulfillment of the project's Conditional Water Licence.

Regional Power and Pic Mobert First Nation's Gitchi Animki Hydroelectric Project on the White River near Marathon, Ontario breaks ground for construction.  MKE assisted Regional Power with permitting and prepared the Construction Environmental Management Plan for this project.
